What is this wonderful book you have been talking about, you ask. This book is titled'first family'. This book is written by the one and only, the international bestselling author(Or so they say), David baldacci. In the book, Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, the main characters, are private investigators enlisted by the first lady to rescue her kidnapped neice. Their investigations run smoothly and when their leads are exposed as dead ends, the kidnapper finally made contact. It turns out that the first lady had not been entirely honest with the pair. The presidents evil deeds in the past are finally catching up with them. His deeds to satisfy his sexual needs had brought this situation.As the story unfold, the president turns out to be a playboy many years before he was president, a person who could not control himself and he accidentally made a girl pregnant. The first lady 'help' the girl to do an abortion which unfortunately, made her lose too much blood and become brain dead. The girl's father had planned his revenge for many years and decided to strike now. King and Maxwell find themselves pushed to the limit, with the boundary between friend and foe impossible to define...or defend.


In my opinion, this is a truly wonderful book. It is definitely a page-turner. The plot's many planted explode unpredictably, which never fail to surprise you. Things that you do not expect to happen, happen. Things that you expect to happen, do not happen. I reccommend this book to anyone who likes action and adventure books. I think that it could give readers an idea what page-turners are like, if they have never read one.
